Your Doc's In was founded in 2005 by doctors Walt Gianelle, Steve Vernon, Gerri Goertzen, and Don Kohler. 

The founders saw a need in the area for people who had an unexpected health problem.  Appointments with primary doctors were often delayed, and having every unexpected problem go to the emergency department is not a good solution.  Very few problems need that level of care, and having an alternative allows everyone better care.

Another advantage offered at Your Doc's In is the ability to have labs, ECG, xray and treatments such as intravenous medications, splinting, and suturing right on site, right away.  This saves the patient from having to make separate trips and separate appointments to have these things done.

Since then, we've have also found that employers also need a convenient solution, and added Occupational Health services to the services we offer.  The extra services offered at Your Doc's In as well as the multiple locations and extended hours meets their needs.

The owners of Your Doc's In intend to continue to provide excellent unscheduled care on a convenient basis on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
